She is the co-creator of Destroy The Hairdresser and focuses on working with salon owners to create strong social media and marketing campaigns. Cyd also teaches owners how to completely transform their business's inner workings to enhance their profit and career experience. As a life and career coach, Cyd has enhanced the personal lives and paychecks of those she has worked with.  Her focus is to help her students build strong brands, empathetic leadership skills and transform their financial future. Her straight-forward approach has changed the lives of those she has worked with. Cyd is a blonding Specialist in New York City and has completely built her business through social media marketing.

David Bosscher

David Bosscher is a certified life coach specializing in executive leadership, emotional intelligence, and proactive leadership training. He holistically approaches leadership coaching. Focusing on enhancing the individual's strengths while proactively shifting their weaknesses. David believes that desire is the key to change, and change is the key to success.

Kate Kent

Kate Kent is an art school graduate turned salon owner specializing in new business creation, emotional intelligence, and helping owners get out from behind the chair and lead. From razor cutting in a tiny one-woman salon to owning a flourishing salon, Kate continues to challenge the old-school salon framework while continuing to build communities. Her salon, Nice Hair, functions as a think-tank for industry changes. Through her fearless exploration of what is possible, she leads the way for others to re-invent themselves.

Joy LaMay

Joy LaMay has been passionately pursuing this industry and the people in it for over 16 years. She began her career as an independent stylist. Since then, despite going through medical issues, physical trauma, moving cities, and raising a family, she’s never wavered in her pursuit of continuing education and growth as a businesswoman.

In 2014 she became a Brand Educator for one of the top color companies in the world, traveling all over California, teaching stylists and salon owners color theory, and managing client relationships and best practices for success. Through that experience, she became even more passionate about helping independent stylists grow and advance their careers.

She understands as an independent stylist how hard it can be to find mentorship, accountability, and an outside view of your business. Her passion is in financial planning, budgeting, and growing your business, all while maintaining financial freedom.

Since growing up on the East Coast, Spain, and San Diego, Joy has been living in Los Angeles for the last 10 years with her husband and two kids. When not behind the chair or coaching, you can find her at Disneyland, at a concert, or exploring the many landmarks Southern California has to offer.

Kaylan Murphy

Kaylan has been in the beauty industry for 15 years. She specializes in hair extensions; her goal behind the chair is to help her clients reach their highest selves. This intention carries through into her coaching. Kaylan is dedicated to assisting other stylists in achieving their true potential. Her focus is to make long-lasting change through learning the reactive system and breaking long-standing habits that prohibit growth.

Sheli Dodaro-Hernandez

Sheli has been actively involved in serving Chicagoland clients since 1999. A graduate from Aveda Institute and a Great Lengths certified stylist since 2004, Sheli has brought passion and purpose to the beauty industry with her non-toxic approach to hair care. 

In January of 2018, Sheli attended a Destroy The Hairdresser class that completely shifted her career. She opened her own salon in less than a year using all the tools she learned from DTH. After being a student for 2 1/2 years, Sheli has experienced great success with the DTH program and is excited to share her knowledge with you.
