Minnie is an Austin Native, born and raised. Since the age of 2, Minni has been fascinated with the obvious artistic and scientific wonders of manipulating hair and skin with her hands. She is forever entranced by the variety of ways to design and create art in the salon as a whole.
Minnie specializes in reviving damaged hair into healthy scalp and strands. She also specializes in curly textures and carving textures and waves into hair with little to no texture. Minnie is a cutting and color technician who loves balayage, natural dimensional highlighting, and organic finishes.
Minnie currently lives in Central Austin with her son Eric; she loves to cook, garden, network, find local artisans, and swim in local creeks. Minnie travels quite a bit, taking color and business classes and enjoying the sites. She is forever a dreamer and loves embracing change. Minnie is a pet lover and enjoys spending time with her dog and family.

Why did you decide to become a coach?
I became a coach to help others who feel trapped and lost in the industry, I want people to lose the ideology of the hustle culture and start focusing on their life design.
How would you describe your coaching style?
Tough love, transparency, and direct communication.
What should someone expect when working with you?
My students should expect that I will hold them to a high standard they are uncomfortable with to help expand their knowledge and potential. I’m a fan of truly looking inward and being honest about one’s capabilities.
What would you say to someone skeptical of hiring a coach?
If what you’re doing is working for you, the skepticism is validated. If what you are currently doing is not working for you, what do you have to lose?
What excites you about the Destroy The Hairdresser platform?
The much-needed evolution of our industry is what excites me the most. As well as their focus on removing the massive overhead!
