Why did you decide to become a coach?
After finding my confidence and success through Destroy the Hairdresser program, I knew I wanted to help other stylists. I want hairstylists to break through all the nonsense that holds us back.
How would you describe your coaching style?
I am empathic and honest. Having held just about every position in the salon industry, I can empathize with it all. However, I am not here to sympathize with you. We have limited time here; my goal is to push your boundaries and grow your confidence and business.
What should someone expect when working with you?
All hairstylists need to start thinking like business owners and step out of thinking like just a hairstylist. We are so much more. One-on-one coaching with me is about pushing your boundaries. It will not be comfortable, but I am here for you! You can expect honesty, accountability, and support from me. I expect you to show up open and willing to grow.
What would you say to someone who is skeptical of hiring a coach?
Do your research, ask questions! Coaching isn’t for everyone but for those who are open to it; it can be life-changing.
What excites you about the Destroy The Hairdresser platform?
The community of like-minded people and all of the ever-progressing options we have. Destroy the Hairdresser has an option for literally every person and every budget.
What books have influenced your coaching style?
The Power of Kabbalah by Yehuda Berg
You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero
You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero
What has been your biggest success story as a coach?
I think merely committing to working with me is a success! It is a huge step to recognize that we all need support.
