The DTH.Institute presents:

The Corporate Freelancer
with special guest Victor Henao!

In today's beauty industry we are seeing the lines blur between freelance work, corporate work, and salon work. The structures that use to keep us all separated are breaking down and the millennial age is calling for new rules. Gone are the days of the salon only stylist. Today's industry allows us to do it all, and to do it how we want. It's a great time to be alive and a great time to work in the beauty profession, but new waters require new forms of navigation. Meet Victor Henao:

"Estée Lauder Global Makeup Design Director, Victor Henao, has been a professional makeup artist for 16 years. He currently serves working directly with the ... roster of supermodels, including Kendall Jenner, Carolyn Murphy, Joan Smalls, and Liu Wen. In this position, he travels all over the world, making personal appearances, hosting events with local influencers & celebrities, and teaching Estée Lauder's makeup artists worldwide.

Additionally, Victor plays a key role in product development for both the Estée Lauder and Estée Edit brands. Through his years of expertise in the field, he is uniquely able to guide Estée Lauder’s product development and marketing teams in the discovery of new trends and ingredients, while consulting on formulas and packaging to best achieve high-performing products that both makeup artists and consumers alike will love.

Victor's work has been featured in a variety of editorials, both in print and online, including: Elle, W Magazine, In Touch, People, People en Español, Vogue China, Vogue Japan, Vanidades, and more. He has worked on set for Bravo, E!, MTV, VH1, CNN, and CBS, and has worked with several celebrities on the red carpet, including Eva Longoria, Hilaria Baldwin, and more. He is based in New York City, but can often be found working all around the world."
